HOLIDAYS TRADITIONAL AND FESTIVITIES
The holidays are days declared by law, holidays. They correspond to holiday civil or religious, or commemorate important events.
In addition to these days, the authorities have the option of declaring a public holiday business day following the day on certain holidays.
1 January: New Year's Day
Jan. 20: Army Day
March 26: Day of the Martyrs
April 9: Easter Monday
March 31: Birth of the Prophet (Maouloud)
April 7: Baptism of the Prophet (Maouloud)
May 1: Labor Day
May 25: Africa Day
Sept. 22: National Day
Oct. 13: End of Ramadan
Dec. 20: Eid El Kabir (Feast of Sacrifice or Tabaski)
Dec. 25: Christmas
